How to Read Tucker Serial Numbers

We get a lot of requests to decipher serial numbers on saddles. Here's how you can read Circle Y serial numbers. Circle Y has been manufacturing saddles for 50 years and there have been many configurations of serial numbers. The easiest to decipher are the most recent.


2005 to Present



In addition to the the serial number, a date code will be included on the plate. For example, after your serial number, you will find 20101234, where 2010 is the year is twas made and 1234 if the unique number of that saddle.

Numbers looked like E795123: E means Endurance (W means Western) 7 is month made, 95 is year made, 123 is the unique number for the saddle.
